Psychology? Maybe everybody has it, so most think it’s normal?
For example, I never hear that people get creeped out to watch someone biting down on a large dirty rusty bolt. Then they wiggle it around so their teeth make a screeky crunching noise. Then they hold a razor knife up to the web between their fingers and make sawing motions and put tufts of fiberglas all over their sweaty necks while rubbing two very dry blocks of styrofoam together.
My dad used to do this. His were allergy related. It doesn’t happen quite as much as it used to thanks to medication, but I’m sure he can still have a sneezing fit.
We used to joke with him about it.
Him: Sneeze
Us: Bless you
Him: Sneeze
Us: Bless you
Him: Sneeze
Us: OK, now you’re showing off."
Sneeze, sneeze, sneeze, and so on.
Me too. I think we’re the normal ones.
My husband started to sneeze last night, and I was secretly counting and rooting for him to get to an impressive number for me to post, but alas, he only got to about six.

Sneeze; The funniest word in the dictionary. 
I have one just about every morning right after (although sometimes, it’s during) breakfast. Once in a while, I’ll get one in the evening as well. Just like my dad.
Since for most of us it happens randomly and the mortality rate for it is extremely low, I’m thinking it just fell off the list of things for scientists to research.
I do it but only one of my three kids has the same affliction.
I don’t, but a friend of mine will sneeze 5-6 times in a row.
We call them sneezures.
I was just looking up about this and I found your question. I have the same issue. I can sneeze up to 20 or 25 times even. Drives me crazy, especially if I am driving or in a restaurant. My mother, my brother and my uncle all do the same thing yet I have 2 other brothers and another uncle who do not.
I get them too. I don’t know what my record is but when I sneeze, it’s never a single. Maybe about 10 or so. My young son gets a kick out of it. I can stop them whenever I want, but why would I? It just feels so good to get it out:)
I get these too. They don’t seem to be allergy related since I will get 5 to 7 really nice sneezes randomly every few months. Just out of the blue, sneezesneezesneezesneezesneeze…stare at a bright light…sneeze. The last one is very satisfying.
I always sneeze multiple times. I don’t think I’ve ever sneezed just once in my life. The majority of the time it’s 7 in a row, sometimes quickly followed by another group of sneezes.
A friend of mine always sneezes eight or nine times in a row, and with really high-pitched, short sneezes, so it sounds like a chorus of mice yelling “SHIT SHIT SHIT” at the top of their tiny, little lungs… All of her friends know not to (a) comment, (b) laugh or © count and tell her how many times she sneezed. (b) is particularly difficult.
