I’ve noticed for a while now how saturated the mainstream Music scene is with Rihanna and it’s now gotten the point of being annoying. Not a day goes by without some mention of her on some product or endorsement.
yes. I am also sick to death of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kesha, many rappers, hip-hoppers and many auto-tuned male singers who ‘sing’ about having sex at the club. yeah, I’m way too old for top 40 radio.
back to Rihanna - I wouldn’t be so annoyed if she were a model, but it’s the singer part of her persona that’s annoying.

Hell yeah I’m sick of her. Nominal talent, and I don’t find her particularly “hot” either. She’s nice looking, but they’re trying to make her sex personified and all I can see is her massive forehead.
Luckily my kids are too young to be into them, so my exposure to Rihanna, Gaga, Perry, Ke$ha, et al is limited. I do think Beyonce is very talented so I forgive her indulgences in the media.

Otherwise, pose naked for Playboy and retire with your millions.

Seriously, back in my day, musicians were about the music, and also sometimes they bit the heads off of doves, or floated fifty foot statues of themselves down the Thames. But also, occasionally music.

I was getting pretty sick of her during the whole Chris Brown assault thing but I haven’t been hearing much about her lately. Definitely over her braying ass of a voice though.
Not that she was ever in my music collection but any goodwill I once felt for Taylor Swift evaporated after it became clear her modus operandi was “Let older guy get in my pants, watch him leave, write songs and conduct interviews expressing shock and bitching about how my true love forever was cruelly broken; rinse and repeat”.

Both her mother and father are from Barbados. Her father is African-Irish and her mother Barbadian-Guyanese.
I think Alanis only did it once. Taylor Swift does it over and over and over again.
