Anyone else here love Mc Donalds?

I occasionally buy a cheeseburger for lunch - 130 Yen, plus a takeaway vegetable soup from a cafe at about 120 Yen, has got to be the cheapest, most satisfying lunch ever.

I never buy fries because of the salt, and I never buy the shakes because of the fat, but I used to like them both.

I eat there when I want to hate myself the next day. I love fast food but there’s just so many better places, especially in California.

Back in the early '90s, I was eating at a McDonald’s in Moscow and got to chatting with a guy who had been to one in the US.

“Not very popular there,” was his assessment. “There’s never a line at one!”

Pure Russian logic! :smack:

Especially in California?

I love them. There are only a few things that I’ll eat, but that’s true wherever I go. For fast food, which I like a lot in general, they’re in my top 3.

I like their food but I purposefully do not eat it very often. It’s pure garbage for our bodies as is most processed foods.
The key is moderation.

I don’t love every trip there, and sometimes I don’t go for months and months, but sometimes you get just the perfect serving of everything and it’s better than some of the fancier, nicer meals I’ve had in how it just hits the spot for a cheap price.

I do! I love their Nuggets. I wish you could buy a bottle of their Sweet & Sour sauce. I like Big Macs and Quarter Pounders w/cheese.

I enjoy their salads. I get them with grilled chicken and no dressing and they are filling and less than 300 calories. They must genetically engineer their tomatoes because no where else do I taste a tomato that is that juicy and tastes that tomato-y.

Any love for the Jalapeno Double burger? Lood Gord, I love those puppies! Just exactly hot enough! Wonderful tasty! And they use both sliced jalapeno and fried jalapeno, so you get the fresh, hot flavor and the crunchy, lighter flavor.

Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese no ketchup (and no mustard - have to say this too if you are in a mustard on burger area), add Big Mac Sauce - now that’s where it’s at.

I like their food. I don’t know if it’s fair to compare their burgers to other burgers (they’re kind of in their own category), but I like them for what they are.

I’ve lost a lot of weight in the last year, and a lot of cheap food that I once craved no longer appeals to me very much. But man, I cannot drive past a McDonald’s without thinking about their cheeseburgers and McNuggets.

I eat at McD’s a few times a year and enjoy it. I like Big Macs and Filets. Their breakfast burritos hit the spot sometimes.

Same boat. But, as I wrote in my post, I still get to enjoy their salads. You may want to give them a shot if you want to scratch the itch.

I like the 1/4 pounder and the fries and the egg McMuffin.

I may have that tomorrow now that I’m thinking about it.

I’ve never tried a fish sandwich anywhere but McD’s. It’s so perfect, there’s no way anyone else’s could be better. CHEESE ON FISH, MAN. And it’s amazing. I don’t even eat fish - only tuna salad I make at home, and Filet-O-Fish. What is that bun made out of? Heaven.

And when you want a couple bites of juicy, salty, savory somethingorother with cheese? You want a McD’s cheeseburger. Nom nom.

Nothing better after a steamy trip to the doggy beach than to go through the drive-thru at McD’s with your pooch and get a vanilla cone. One for her and one for me!

Yeah, I’ve never been against it. There’s something for everyone there.

Not to hijack the thread, but White Castle’s fish sandwiches are also really good!

I haven’t been to a WC in years (it’s mostly a Midwest thing). I miss their food!

Back in the day, Burger King’s Whalers were great too! Haven’t had one of those in years either. :frowning:

I wouldn’t say I love it, but every now and then, I get a craving for it. Especially the breakfast menu. Steak egg and cheese bagel? Hell yeah. (Haven’t had one of those in years and I’m seriously due.)

Once in a while, I’ll be about to leave work, and my daughter will send me a text asking that I pick up breakfast at Mickey D’s. I’m happy to do it, but it gets on my nerves when they ask me if I want a breakfast item made with egg whites.

NO, AND IN FACT, I WANT YOU TO STOP OFFERING IT ON YOUR MENU! ALTERNATIVELY, I’LL TAKE A FEW OF THE EGG YOLKS YOU’VE BEEN WASTING FROM OTHER PEOPLE’S BREAKFASTS!

Seriously, egg whites with the yolks omitted is a HORRIBLE thing to offer someone for breakfast.

I like their sausage burritos and their cheddar onion burgers.
