This game is fun, and hard. I have finally made it to the Highspeed class.
Tell you what, using that steering wheel that the remote snaps into is interesting.
As in any racing game, mastering the turns is a must, but there is little forgiveness if you get into the grass. I have lost races where I have led for most of the way only to make a mistake in the last turn and finish last. It’s tough.
I reccommend the game to anyone with a Wii looking for a challenging racing game where you get to “tune” your car as you earn upgrades through race wins.
Oh, and to add further: no, there is no penalty for bashing into other cars (no damage occurs) other than it can really slow you down, and as tough as the later championship races get, even a minor setback time-wise can cost you a race as the cars are all pretty equal top-speed wise, so other than doing better in the turns and out-driving the computer cars, you’re pretty much screwed if you get too far behind, especially late in a race.
