I went and saw it this weekend. It was a fairly interesting dark comedy/drama starring Kiernon Culkin(sp), Jeff Goldblum, Claire Daines (the most talented young actress I have ever seen), and Susan Sarandon among many others.
Claire Daines’s character was a total whore. Hey, Igby even though I am fucking you, I am going to fuck your brother too since he takes care of himself better than you but has no emotional ties to anything. She rocks. 
Susan Sarandon playing the total bitch, pill popping mother seemed to fit her well. By the way, I suppose you know by now that (Jeff Goldblum’s character) is your father. She was so spiteful thatit was funny. I especially liked her telling off Bunny (Jeff Goldblum’s bimbo wife and I think the the bimbo girlfriend from the Reba sitcom).
Igby’s brother (he reminds me of Freddy Prinze Jr. but I don’t know his name or if that is who he is for certain). I laughed so hard when Igby and him fed his mother the pink poison that looked like strawberry yogurt. He was so hateful.
My absolute favourite part of the movie was after it came back around to Susan Sarandon dying and the task of informing the relatives and friends came upon Igby.
Igby’s brother: He likes to be the bearer of bad tidings.

Repeat ad nauseum. I laughed so hard. If I had drank milk it would have sprayed out of my eyes and ears in addition to my nose.
The movie also had its serious side. It showed how Igby was basically a burn out and didn’t have much of any direction. It showed what that type of life can lead to. I liked the comedy parts a bit better though since it was just so deliciously evil.
MMM MMM good. I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. It was really good overall, definately not a movie for everybody though.
