I am because I have a pony in the race and two national championships in one year would be pretty damn cool.
Go Orange!

Go Orange!
Go Hopkins!
Eh, good game. See you next year.
Hullaballoo! Canuck canuck!
(VERY old JHU victory cheer)
Wish I’d seen that one in person!
I remember when Syracuse came out of nowhere to be a lacrosse power to be reckoned with in the early 80’s. Good to see them still competing at a high level. Even better to see the Hop back in decent form, of course.
Of course I watched today. I missed the Hopkins/Cuse game due to work, but caught Maryland getting spanked by Virginia. I was much less impressed with John Christmas than I expected to be.
Well, Hopkins will probably smoke UVA anyways.
On a side note, there were something like four guys from Detroit Country Day playing in that game. A bunch of my teammates played against those guys in high school.
God, I hate Hopkins. Hate, hate, hate. I hope the Cavs take them to the cleaners.
It’s always amusing to watch the Hopkins’ fans squirm and get all red in the face and to see the booster club do stupid things when Hop dosn’t win the national championship. If they lose Monday, people will be calling for Pietramala’s head. It’s the best show in town.
GO WA-HOOS!
Dah, da da, dadadahdadadah, da da dah dah, da dah, dah da da dah da dah.
Dah, da da, dadadahdadadah, da da dah dah, da dah, dah da da dah da dah.
One!-two!-three!-four!-five!-six!-seven! Ain’t no more!
Heee! Too bad Virginia got 9!
Seriously, it’s hard to hate The Hop when they played such a hard fought, good, clean game. Anyone but Johnson in goal for the Cavs and the Jays take it . What a game!
I’m so disappointed that I had to work this morning. I need to get a tape of the game somewhere. I thought this was supposed to be JHU blowing out UVA, but it sounds like it was a great game.
Well, I’ll have to imagine it until I get that tape
If only I could have been in Baltimore this weekend. No matter who wins, I love going to the lacrosse finals. sigh
