Anyone else wear Garanimals?

I would totally buy them for hubby if I could find them! As it is, every Monday morning before he goes out of town to work, we have to play the “What shirt goes with these pants? Then what tie would I wear with that?” game, for a week’s worth of outfits!

I seem to remember getting mine at JC Penney’s, or possibly Montgomery Ward’s.

I remember them too and, having to wear them. We got them at the Bargain Basement of the Bon Marche and I think, JC Penney. I had some yellow kinda plaid pants with the lines creating the plaid design being a kind of purply lavender. There were cuffed bell-bottoms as well. I had the matching requisite top too.

Slightly off-topic and I don’t want to hijack, but as long as we’re talking about ugly clothes; remember the Sears Toughskins? I had some plaid ones. God, they were awful.

I never had them-my mother let me make my own fashion mistakes. Since I went to Catholic school, we had to dress up, and so I usually wore nice dresses, blouse and skirt sets, nice slacks. Then in fourth grade we started wearing uniforms.

At home though, I could mis-match all I wanted. Sweet freedom!
