Come to think of it, a guy that has arrows with all sort of gadgets on the tip, and a guy that can materialize pure thought as solid objects could conjure up one hell of a love night.
P.S: and SF would be perfect for Speedy, Green Arrow’s sidekick, to start getting his first taste of heroin (for non comic book fans: this was a major storyline done back in the mid or late seventies. You could even see Speedy doing himself a hero fix with syringe on the cover of the book. Pretty bold, especially for DC)
Just got back from seeing it, 2D.
I’m perfectly satisfied! Pacing was fine, not too much daudling on any one person’s story. They had a lot of ground to cover and I think they did a pretty good job with the time they had. Ryan Reynolds seemed like he was holding back a bit. Sinestro was great. I’d like to have seen him in action a bit more.
It was popcorn-worthy summer super hero sci fi action goodness. Not the best movie I’ve ever seen but I won’t hesitate to see the sequel.
It was tons better than Wolverine. I liked it about as much as X-Men First Class, maybe X-Men a little bit more but I grew up an X-Men fan.
Now I’ll have to see Thor.
