I was going to counter Maus Magill’s move in #153 with an incense chariot, but declaring stirrups means I should lead with the keima instead.
Knightsbridge naturally. I think I get half my Oyster card balance back, depending on the interpretation of MC Unabridged and Explained 2011 for horses, stirrups, and tack fees.
There are at least 3 players who are within spitting distance. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m one yet.

What a glorious sight to see, all the pick of the infantry. *

Marble Arch.**
And it’s back to Vauxhall for me - all day tickets on the Jubilee Line are cancelled, in both directions.
I transfer off the Jubilee Line at Finchley Road. This clears most red signals.
Good lord, triple stirrups, what madness is this?
It looks like the value of tokens and Oyster are about to be devalued so time for a bearish play
Paddington
Looks like those oyster cards are pretty much useless. I just wish I could say the same for those Blue tokens I just lost.
Oxford Circus
Damn. Now I have to run over to Wapping in order to cash in the teal tokens.
Hang it all! Off to Tower Hill.
hmmmmmm, wouldn’t tower hill be more of a head off play than a hanging play.
Not looking good, I was holding out for a 18th June play to Waterloo, alas my travelcard will have expired by then , and with the dire state of the tokens I have little option than to play
Euston Square
once again opening up the pedestrian access ways.
I will be needing an emergency manicure after this game has finished.
I hate to do this, but it looks like I’ll have to pull the Emergency Cord and move to Strand.
Hate to waste my Ecru Tokens like that, but there was just no other way.
Good move Strand!
Now, we have to be careful here. As **Attack from the 3rd Dimension **says, more than one of us is close to winning from here.
Seven Sisters I think. Defensive I know, but what with being in *triple *stirrups currently there is too much risk in anything more direct. It keeps us well away from interchanges as so greatly reduces the options for the next player.
I think I should be able to knock one of those Stirrups out.
King’s Cross St. Pancras
We’ve got to be careful not to wind up in a Victoria Line causality loop, but with the skill levels I’ve been seeing, I think we’ll be able to work out a solution.
It’s looking very crowded in the North-East corner. I’m going to attempt a reverse ferret with Putney Bridge.
Okay I think I can see what you’re up to. *With correct play *I think we should be down to being only in double stirrups in two.
Unfortunately I’m not allowed to jump in again yet… but have my fingers crossed.
I’m just starting the game, and it appears to have been going on for a while, so I will have to start at the beginning, draw two cards and wait for the next round.
Victoria Station
Too late for an edit:
Damn! I missed that we were playing under pre-decimalization rules. Would anyone be willing to lend me a Red token so I can take my previous move back?
Also, does anyone have a spare copy of Mornington Crescent: Rules and Origins by NF Stovold?
I don’t think there are any red tokens out, since notquitekarpov had them all reclaimed twenty-five moves ago. Also, it looks like you may have knocked us into the dreaded Victoria Line causality loop.
n the bright side, we’re now only in double stirrups.
Warren Street
I was on Vauxhall but then my token got taken off and Dead Cat got there before I could so no more passive play for me. I’m laying my green token AND “The Camel” on Alperton.
Wow, I literally cannot think of a good move. Since consulting a tube map on a Sunday is forbidden (Laxey v Huddlestone, 1963), I will have to pass and wait for a better opportunity tomorrow.
Is anyone in Nidd? Because I drew a rowboat card on my last turn, and I’m willing to trade…
