Anyone for President 2008!

Carter seems like such a nice guy that I wouldn’t punish him by making him President again. Clinton, on the other hand, seemed to relish the sniping and the attacks and death threats from the far right. If I could install him in the White House again, I rather imagine that he’d sleep with another intern just to mock the Limbaugh/O’Reilly crowd.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned Chris Walken!

Great choice, I like Bloomberg quite a bit. I would happily settle for Rudy and all his flaws. I keep thinking a ticket with a very realistic chance of winning is McCain/Giuliani. Hard to beat, very attractive to moderates and would move the country back towards the center.
Christy Wittmann would campaign hard for this ticket as she is trying to lead a republican movement to take the party back from the religious right.

If we could resurrect Teddy I would be overjoyed. I figured we had to at least stick to real living people.

Jim

I’d be interested in seeing Colin Powell run.

Also, John McCain.

Other than that? Boy it’s slim pickings. And that’s a shame.

Jimmy Carter was just not willing to play by the rules. His own party undermined him as much as the Republicans. IMHO, he was the most honest person that’s been in the White House in the last 30 years. I know his competition isn’t tough, but still…

Anybody but the Republican candidate. I’ve had it with those motherfuckers.

I’d love to see Condi Rice run…if, for absolutely no other reason, than to watch the Democrats and liberals trying to rally the people not to vote for the black woman for President.

All other politics aside, that’d just be funny as hell. (I get my laffs where I can find 'em.)

Word. You just know that for his inauguration speech he could say, “I want Osama bin Laden delivered to the nearest US embassy within the hour.” and five freakin’ minutes later, Osama would be at the gates of an embassy, bawling his eyes out!

My choice is New York Attorney General Elliott Spitzer, who is currently the strong favorite in the race for governor. In the real world, I think he will likely be a solid Presidential candidate in 2012 or 2016.

I think Mayor Mike Bloomberg would be a good choice as well. Rudy Guilani would be dreadful as he’s way too thin-skined and unable to deal with balancing competing interests.

As to realistic choices, I am interested in hearing more about Bill Richardson.
