Anyone going to PAX this year?

I wasn’t sure if I should put this here or in the Game Room, since it’s focused largely around gaming - but it is a cultural event, after all.

Anyway, I noticed the registration period is open and I’ve never been to PAX and really want to go. I’m getting more hours this summer at work so I should be able to save a little extra scratch to afford the trip, although the hotels are still really expensive.

I really don’t have any friends I know that are going (well, I know at least one person who would dig it but is too broke to fathom traveling out of L.A.). Anyone from here going to be attending?

Dammit, I just got back from PAX (the east coast one)–I need a break before even thinking about the next one!

Anyways, I’ll be there–for business reasons. But it is really fun otherwise, especially if it’s your first time. I’ve never gone by myself, but it seems pretty friendly to even those by themselves–everyone’s a big nerd so it’s easy to get along.
