I no longer have the stamina, (or interest in most of the bands) to go to festivals anymore. Thanks to the internets, though, I can catch some gigs at the multi-band extravaganzas this year. Tonight, I’m getting a chance to see what the whole Arctic Monkeys buzz is about. Tomorrow, Arcade Fire is on the bill, so I’m curious to see what they have to offer. Too bad FOW is being eclipsed by The Gotan Project, but what can you do?

My bro and his girlfriend actually went to Coachella. I wish I was there, at least until I remember 2 things:
- It’s 90+ degrees there.
- The LA Times Festival of Books is happening across town.
I got a little excited there for a moment, but then I saw that they’re not going to webcast VNV Nation’s set. 
They’re not broadcasting Rage Against the Machine’s set?
That makes me a sad panda.
