This will be my first time going to DEFCON. I don’t know anyone that’s going very well. We do have a local DC group, but they don’t meet very frequently and I usually see them more often at our local linux users group meetings than at the local DC meetings. I figure the SDMB has a lot of people in the industry so maybe some of you are going. It would be nice to meet up at the conference. I’m not a “hacker” but I have a hobby interest in computer and network security and I like to futz around with electronics, programs, wifi, OSes and whatnot, so I think it will be neat to go to the talks and get some hands on time with the experts. Plus, it’s Vegas, baby, and I’m always looking for an excuse to go there.
