Anyone got one of these? (Orbit Portable DVD player)

Mine: The picture quality is good and it played “Big fish” with no problem whatsoever. But last night I played “Independence Day” on it and occasionally it would stop the picture and make seeking type noises. And then towards the end of the film it would stop for longer periods and be unable to start again at the same point.

It also gets rather hot underneath.

I am hoping it’s just a one off (our ordinary DVD player has trouble with certain DVDs).
Anyone else got one? How long have you had it? What do you think?

Just from the title I was going to warn you that it might start a fire.

Orbit is one of the worst brands out there. I mean, at the bottom of the bottom makers.

You have a piece of junk on your hands there. Next time, buy something that’s not crap.

Dear American Consumers: The cheapest stuff on the electronics shelf should never be bought.

I bought it because it was the only one I could find with TV recieving abilities (and it was cheap)

I never leave it plugged in. I will continue to use it unti it stops working.
