KellyM just bought me a pleater. A Super Amanda Jane. I found out this Spring that I like to smock, but I don’t like to pleat. I hope this is the answer. I have always liked pleats and can’t wait to try this out. Anyone have a pleater they use? Anyone else smock?
I am also trying to design and make a pleater caddy. Any caveats?
I haven’t used a pleater in years…I remember though that it was so much fun once I got it going that I wanted to pleat everything in sight. Since I still have many of the pleated pieces laying around somewhere, it’s obvious that my enthusiasm for smocking ran out soon after. But now everyone around me at church is having babies, so maybe some smocked bonnets… I’m going to be on short-term disability this summer, so I think I’ll addd “smocking” to the list of projects to work on!
