Next time just click the little ! in a triangle at the top of your post and explain to the mods what happened. You don’t need to do that this time, as I’ve already reported the title typo for you, no biggie, just next time it happens you’ll know what to do.
I don’t have this particular DVD set, but I did have issues with some of my Simpsons DVD’s recently. I had to return the set twice but finally wound up with one that worked right. The last time I exchanged the set at a different location, as both defective sets were from the same place. I just assume that store got a bad batch. I’ve read similar stories happening to other people with other shows, so I assume it’s just quality control going down the drain.
Before returning it, make sure it’s not the player by trying it in several different players if you have access to more than one (stand alone player, videogame system, PC, etc). If it works in one player but not another, it’s probably not the disc at fault.
Yeah, mine is full of issues. The menus don’t work right at all, and some of the subtitles only display every fourth phrase or so.
