I’m going to be away that weekend, but I’ve already let our neighbor know that he has to record the season premier for me. Hooray!
I’ve been wondering, when did the show switch from Showtime to Sci-fi, and what differences have people noticed?
I love this show. Best thing on in my opinion.
I did notice when they made the change to sci-fi. There were a couple of episodes that I noticed the CGI wasn’t on the same level. And a few of the episodes have been a bit different from what I expected. I’m hoping that the cast and crew mostly stays with the show, and doesn’t abandon it like Sliders. If they can keep everyone on board, I think that they’ll be fine. And considering that they’re moving into a 7th season, they’re doing great for a sci-fi show.
I only see the episodes as mpegs, but the guy who creates the files replaces the opening credits with a new song and sometimes alters the pictures of the cast in them (say, To make Carter Queen Amidala). It’s hilarious opening a sci-fi program with the Care Bears song.

“Window of Opportunity,” from the fourth season.

I love Stargate SG-1 so much that I (gasp) buy the season boxed sets.
I don’t have cable, and they are only 60 bucks or so.
So much goodness.
Season 3 is almost out.
I hope they do season four quick.
I LOVED that Window of Opportunity episode.
I like it when they Teal’c and O’neill learning to juggle
through like four time jumps.
1969 is a good episode too. They dress up as hippies.
My brother gave me the season 1 DVDs for Christmas. What season was “1969”? I don’t recall that episode and I thought I’d seen them all.
1969 is the second-to-last episode in season two. It’s on Sci-Fi this Monday at 7:00.
