I’m a Feb 29th baby.
I am a 666 baby.
My birthday’s on the sixth, in '66.
[cue “Ave Satani” now]
D’oh! Forgot to add: written, it’s 10/06/66.
My birfday is Apr 04. It falls on Easter every now and again. Next year I’ll be celebrating another birthday on 04 04 04. That’s interesting, I suppose.
I was born on Nov. 3. My
Uncle was born on Nov. 3. His
Great Aunt was born on Nov. 3. And finally her
Great Great Uncle was born on Nov 3.
Sadly none of his great great aunts or uncles were born on that day. Well none of the ones that I know of are. For good measure my dog Pokey was born on my birthday when I was just a few years old.
D’oh, I scarcely escaped being the 44th reply to this thread too. Wish I’d have caught that before I posted.
Hmmm. That’s my birthday too, as well as my (non-twin) brother’s, and my father’s.
Not quite true, it’s a day of disaster.
I was also born on March 13 (strangely enough, my sister was also born on a 13, which is kind of cool, so was having my birthday rotate to Friday every so often). So I’ve checked this.
There were a few impressive suicides of people who could have changed the world. Czar Alexander was assassinated. The Anschulss happened on March 13. Andrew Johnson’s impeachment.
On the good side, world’s first striptease in a theater. No, it doesn’t balance.
Oh, oh, and Dr. King was killed on Apr 04. Wouldn’t say that’s a good thing, but it’s worth mentioning, right? 'Kay, this is my last post on this thread.
Does it count that every birthday, no matter how good it is going, is marred by some great trauma?
Last year it was the now ex-husband being shitty to me on my birthday and then engaging me in a screaming match because I told him that since we were broke we could just find something fun to do together.
My birthday (Sept. 8) will never fall on Labor Day. Though it will occasionally be the day after.
Baker and I are both New Year’s Eve babies – even the same year.
Does 28th June, the date of Arch DUke Franz Ferdinand’s assassination in Sarajevo, thus sparking off the “war to end all wars” (pause for sound of hollow laughter) count?
06/08/1975
Hiroshima: 06/08/1945
One CelynBrother has the birthday of 15th September 1963 - not cheerful date either.
I share a birthday (5/4, or “Cuatro de Mayo” as I like to call it) with: Audrey Hepburn (b. 1929, yay) and Lass Bass (b. 1979, ick).
Otherwise, not much happens on my birthday, although I did once attend a Phillies game on my birthday when they actually won, and this year I got to have breakfast with Shamu at Sea World San Diego on my birthday, so that was cool.
And, potentially scary thought to all those November 16th babies out there: Guess what YOUR parents were doing on Valentine’s Day …
One of my sons was born the day before my birthday and another was born the day after.
A friend of mine was 30 on 03/03/03.
I love this thread! My birthday is November 27, which this year is Thanksgiving Day - AND I’m turning 30, eeek.
So I’m spending 4 days in Vegas. Seemed better than eating dry turkey on someone’s couch and watching football.
Other interesting family birthdays - my dad and my sister were both born on September 15, 40 years apart TO THE HOUR. Freaky.
Oh, and my son’s birthday is today. Don’t know if there is anything else special about it.

Me too. I always say “Gee, no one ever pointed that out before.”
My supervisor was born on 2/29/60. Every four years on her real birthday she brings a bottle of Dom Perrione into the office. The last drink I had was on 2/29/88, after being sober since 8/5/87.
My birthday is June 19th, which is Juneteenth, a pretty cool day.
It also frequently falls on Father’s Day, which does nothing for me, but gives my father and me something to celebrate on the same day every few years.
My sister and her husband have the same birthday, February 9th, which is also their wedding anniversary.
Please step back Miss. I am here to bag your groceries.–In Conceivable
