Anyone here have any strange birthdays?

Prohibition was repealed on my birth date in 1933! December 5th to be exact. I try to incorporate that fact into every birthday celebration.

When I first asked my partner what his birthday was he said, “it’s PI.” So, okay, what’s geekier–the fact that he phrased it that way, or the fact that I know he meant March 14th?

My husbands is 6/6/67. I know I posted this somewhere before but all his ID’s (military, bank, driver…) have a 666 together on them!
My birthday is 12/12/71, six months and six days difference. Our first child together 9/9/96, three months and three days after hubby and three months three days before mine, and he was three on 9/9/99.
My oldest son is 12/14/91. My oldest daughter is 11/19/90.
I will be 40 on 12/12/12. My youngest is 8/11/97 which I always have thought sounded cool when you say it out loud.

I was born on Flag Day, June 14th.

My mom died on my birthday five years ago :frowning:

C’mon Amarinth. No offense but these events are just lame. Think of it. You’ve got all of humanity and all of human history to work with and these are the best birthdays/anniversaries we got?

But let’s make lemonade from our lemons! I think we 3/13ers should embrace the blank slate that is our birthdate and aspire to leave our mark on history so that those who follow will have something to aspire to.

Or here’s a better idea. Let’s declare 3/13 as Lameday, “the dullest day that ever was.” We’ll hold a press conference. All us 3/13ers can sit around napping or watching paint dry or grass grow. We can elect Rerun as our Grand Marshal. We’ll be the keepers of the Lameday flame until something momentus happens on 3/13, then – with much pomp – we can pass the title to another bunch of unfortunates with the next lamest birthdate.

Wuddayasay Amarinth? Are you with me? If nothing else we’ll make the local news every few years, especially when we get picketed by the Neil Sedaka and Percival Lowell fan clubs.

My birthday is December 8th, nothing too special there (I don’t think) except that the US entered WWII on that day. Also, written out it’s 12/8/82 - all divisible by 2.

My birthday is 17 days before Christmas. My dad’s is 17 days after. My dad’s birthday is January 11th, 1/11.

My mom’s birthday is Labour Day this year.

My boyfriend was born 13 months and 13 days after me. Our first anniversary was on a 13th. (Later became a 15th.)

I know a LOT of people born on April 4th or 5th. A lot. I wonder why.

Ok, I’m in.
Anyone else born on Lameday?

…this is damned spooky.

My grandfather and I share the same name and birthday (6/13). He died in 1923, when he was 47.

He married a woman with the same first name as my wife. They share the same birthday (3/10).

Their first son and our first son share the same birthday (5/25).

Their first daughter and our first daughter share the same birthday (3/31).

Damned spooky.

My birthday - septembe 6th - is EVIL

Welcome aboard(s), Dawne!

Addenda: Occasionally, my birthday and the Superbowl coincide.

I give myself two birthdays, because a birthday is the beginning of life.
Originally born 10/15/60
clinical death 3/3/89 resuscitated (successfully, I may add) 3/3/89
I celebrate both days.

Independence Day, July 4th, 1986. <Tons> of things happened on dates related to my birthday. Independence of my wonderful country the US of A. A few presidents were born. I share my birthday Ann Landers, as well as her twin. And a zillion other things as well.

Oh, and, it’s written 7-4-86… 7^2+4^2=65, 65+19 (the 19 from 1986)=84, my brother was born August 23, 1983… and that’s written 8-23-83… 8^2+23^2=64, 64+529=593. 19+593=612, which, subracted from my 84, and if you take away my biological father’s birthday date, which equivocates to 16 (1-6), you get my mother’s birthdate, May 12th.

Yeah, I figured this out when I was about 8 years old…I have been traumatized ever since.

Also, my roommate will be 25 on 10/10/10

Mine is 3/18/72, nothing remarkable here except usually everyone’s too hungover on my birthday to want to celebrate. When I was younger I learned to just declare midnight the end of Irish Day* and the start of my birthday, at least there was always a great party to go to and then I get to be all lazy on my birhtday  BTW my cousins b’day is 3/17/71, one year and day before mine.

There is nothing special about my birthday (February 3, 1950) except that Morgan Fairchild was born on that day.

Of the eight people in my immediate family, five of us have birthdays in one week. Sister Kay–January 28, Mom and sister Bea on January 30, Dad on January 31 and me on February 3.

One of my nieces was born on February 14, a nephew on the Ides of March and a great-niece on July 4.

This is a cool thread.

Only if I can be named as well – August 12th baby too!

Seriously, though, I love AngeLily Day (as August 12th will be called from now on) because pretty often the Perseid meteor showers peak then. On my birthday I can hang out in the hot tub with friends, watching the Perseids.

This is definitely a cool thread.

My friends Jenny and Connie (sisters) were both born on July 23, two years apart. Jenny would call Connie her birthday present, and thus order her to do things for her around the house when they were children. Their parents aren’t doctors, and they weren’t born two years apart to the hour… but still pretty damn cool.

Celyn, forgive my ignorance / denseness… but what’s so tragic about the date Sept. 15, 1963?

Anyone ever heard of the Debly-Martin family in Canada? In three years exactly, they had five children…

a set of twins (Irisa and Telina) [born Aug. 10, 1997]

and

a set of triplets (Autumn, Kyla, and Zev) [born Aug. 10, 2000]

The triplets were born on the twins’ third birthday.
Oh, and if anyone is wondering where I’m getting all this multiples-related info from: Facts About Multiples is a pretty cool site.

My father’s birthday is on 1/28 too. I probably would not remember the exact date of the shuttle tragedy if it wasn’t for that coincidence.

Mine is 7/18. Which alone is not strange, but in my life I have known at least 10 people with the same birthday as me. I seem to be drawn to them magnet like. Both one of my best friends and my husband are born on 7/18. Both of them also have known a lot of people sharing that birthday. All this makes me ask, what is WITH that???

Oh and, my area code, for the first 22 years of my life, was 718.

My mom and Deb’s mom and Deb’s mom’s stepmom all share a birthday. (We either remember or slight both mothers in law, so there is no favoritism.)

My dad and an old classmate of mine shared a birthday with Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.
