I got a look at the horn button for the Tucker today and noticed right off that it’s the wrong one. The one in there is an art deco style button which says “Mill’s Music.” I’m wondering if there was an aftermarket company making car parts called that or if it was something that was cannabalized out of a jukebox or other item and when it might have been produced. (Yes, we’re going to be able to make an accurate reproduction of the correct one, but I’d like to know when that one could have been added. If it was something which could have only been made in the 1950s, then it’s obvious that it wasn’t in the car when it was built.) Anybody know?
I have no idea about an answer to your question Tuckerfan, but had to say I’m happy to see you have this job restoring a Tucker. You’ve got such a good mind and skills for it. I hope you are mucho enjoying the project!
