it is Mongolian script, kinda ancient. I can surely say that 5 of 10 are tribe names of 11st century’s Mongolia. I will write down them from head by clockwise:
- Khar ord- it might be Khar Kidan
- Khongirad-tribe
- Khukh ord- Khanlig /smaller than kingdom, bigger than province/
- Olkhunud- tribe
- Merged- tribe
- Ulaan ord- I don’t know what it is
- Nogai ord- nationality
- Jalair-tribe
- Arulad- tribe
- Tsagaan ord- White Horde/part of Golden horde that’s ruler was Bat khaan whose eldest son of Genghis khaan/
So these words can’t connect the movie. I think they might use these to look cool to viewers, like some people tattooed Chinese kanji on their bodies, even they did not know the meaning.

Even in the context of the movie, the Mandarin is a fake. He’s just an out-of-work British actor who agreed to make some threatening videos in exchange for some drugs. The real villain set him up as a distraction, to get Iron Man’s attention, so yes, the writing behind him was exactly just some stuff to look cool to ignorant Western viewers.
