Yes, mainly thanks to those same busy-bodies. The Travoltas have been followed by paparazzi, their private lives discussed in tabloids, and they’ve been subjected to scrutiny due to accusations from others. You don’t have to be a “nosy busy-body” to have unwanted knowledge of celebrity lives’ inflicted upon you from the “news” media. I mean, I could pass on knowing about Mel Gibson’s tirades, drinking sprees, and anti-Semitic verbalizing, too, but I don’t have a choice if I listen to the “news” media. Ditto for a lot of other stuff involving a lot of other people.

Due to the Travoltas being chased by paparazzi it doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to know they took the kids, including Jett, everywhere because the kids are photographed with the parents. Full time nanny service is common with celebrities, and with Jett it extended into his later years. What care was provided for Jett was made official during a trial after his death.

For that matter, the Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston made an official statement in 2009 that Jett had both a seizure disorder and autism, so much for “he can’t admit the kid had autism because of Scientology”.

These are all facts obtainable with a 5 minute search on the internet, if you don’t mind sorting through the hysterical fan and paparazzi shrieking and hyperventilating that’s also on the internet.

The accusations coming out about what Travolta was doing during the massage are pretty damning and if true, warranting some sort of penalty if that’s the case. Whether or not I want to, I am going to be subjected to hearing about erections, butt-cheeks, and so forth for the next few months unless I want to hide under a rock because this is going to be all over the media who just can’t resist using skanky stories to sell cornflakes.

If Travolta did do all that I have to wonder WTF he was smoking or snorting. I mean, hell, a man of his means can easily obtain a discreet “escort” either male or female to service such needs, why choose a random masseuse? (He should be smart enough to know not all massages are intended to be erotic and not all masseuses are whores) Unless it’s a thrill factor of some sort. The problem with getting your rocks off with thrills, though, is that sometimes you take a spill and wind up paying a penalty for your fun.

  1. Guys bringing the suit are telling the truth and Travolta is lying.

  3. Some yahoo is impersonating Travolta (feel free to speculate on why) and both parties are telling the truth as they see it.

Travolta’s bathhouse escapades have been legend for years. I think these massage therapists/masseurs are out for a buck, but the rumors have always been he is a bit aggressive.

It’s a shame he doesn’t feel like he can come out, but no doubt the Co$ has some good blackmail fodder. As far as his wife and kids, it’s pretty much accepted they’re in vitro. Certainly the last one was due to Kelly’s age.

Assuming Travolta is gay/bisexual, there are probably dozens of people who know it and could confirm it. But the irony is that only ones who actually go public are the ones who are least credible - those who are looking for publicity or money - so they’re the easiest ones to denounce.

No, they admittedit in testimony during prosecution of a Bahamian Senator and the responding EMT who tried to blackmail them w/ a document John signed refusing hospital transport for his son. This revelation angered some in the autism community as they felt the Travoltas hiding their son’s autism while he was alive kept autism awareness from being as widespread the activists would have liked.
The Travoltas have **not **made an official statement about their son’s autism; a 10 minute Internet search has shown me that.

What, exactly, about court testimony makes it “unofficial”. Was it a press release? No. However, it was a public statement that went into a permanent records.

Travolta and Preston, much to the annoyance of the autism community, actually have NEVER been obligated to discuss any medical condition of any family member. Celebrities don’t owe advocacy for charities to anyone. They are not obligated to “speak up” for this or that group merely because a family member falls into that category.

I, for one, am quite happy when celebrities DON’T spray their family’s medical (or other) problems across the media.

I don’t give a toss about Travolta’s sex life, but I do want to point out that this is entirely incorrect. Lots and lots of gay people have been in hetero marriages that produced children.

If a “gay” person is having sex with someone of the opposite gender on a regular basis they aren’t homosexual, they’re bisexual.

Yes, I suppose it could be a marriage of convenience with no sex and just turkey basters to produce offspring but I think that is less likely than bisexuality.

No, that’s not correct. Sexuality isn’t the same thing as sexual activity. There are any number of reasons a person who is exclusively homosexual in attraction would have sex with a person of the opposite gender, financial security and religious beliefs being two of the more common.

Since I’m not a mind reader and I don’t know Mr. Travolta personally I have to call it based on actions. There might be proof one way or another out there in regards to him but I haven’t seen it (possibly because I’m not looking for it). However, if someone is having sex with both genders on a regular basis I’m going to say “bisexual” until proven otherwise because that’s what their actions indicate.

If you’re not willing to take someone’s professed sexual identity at their word, that’s your look-out. But as a matter of fact, a person can be 100% gay in orientation, and engage in regular heterosexual intercourse.

When John Travolta stands up and says “I’m gay and I’ve been forcing myself to have sex with women all these years even though I don’t want a woman, I want a man” I’ll believe he’s gay in the traditional sense of the word. YOUR assertion is meaningless, unless you’re Mr. Travolta.

Yes, I’m aware that homosexuals can force themselves to have straight sex, just as a heterosexual can force themselves to have gay sex. That doesn’t mean every man married to and having sex with a woman who also has sex with men is a homosexual forcing himself to keep a cover. It is entirely possible he’s a bisexual man having sex with people of both genders.

I haven’t made any assertions about John Travolta. He says he’s heterosexual, and I’m happy to take him at his word for that.

Frankly, the stories sound pretty stupid-why would a guy as wealthy as Travolta hit up some masseuses? He could easily arrange for a discrete escort service.

To clear up a point, the reason Travolta signed the release was because he wanted his son taken to a different hospital for treatment than the one the ambulance was affiliated with. The paramedics said the only way they could legally do this was if Travolta signed the release.

All these men are just as wealthy as Travolta and all could easily arrange for a discrete escort service. Clearly there is something about having indiscreet sex with dangerous partners in risky locations that they find appealing. There’s no reason to assume Travolta isn’t the same.
