Anyone know what this (kosher certification?) logo is?

I was stocking shelves at the store I work at tonight when my eyes happened to glance on the jarred artichokes, and the little logo to the right of Napoleon’s face caught my attention;

I’ve never seen that particular logo before. I’m assuming it’s a kosher certification since that’s what a K on a product label almost always means, but it seems to be an outline of a geographical location I don’t recognize. The brand is from here in the Pacific Northwest, and the jar says they’re imported from Peru, but looking at a map of Peru the outline doesn’t look like any of its states, and it’s definitely not a region of the Pacific Northwest that I recognize.

Anybody happen to know what this logo means?

The map is of Peru as a whole. It must be the logo of Peru’s national kosher certification board.

It does look like an outline of Peru.

Does it say on it that it is kosher? What is a “national kosher certification board”? BTW it is not the logo of www.kosherperu.com

I was so focused on it being a part of a country that it didn’t occur to me that it would be a country itself.

The K is a little different, but the logo looks to be the same as used by the Viru group:
