Anyone own the LOTR 4-disc Sets?

I’m trying to make rental-ready cover art for the LOTR 4-disc sets, because our shelf copies are retarded. But I’m missing some of the components. Anyone have the complete packages, who can scan and email me some pieces?

Thanks!

When you say you want the covers scanned, you do realise there’s at least this much involved?

I found this site. Might be able to help you out.

Actually I have all that; I’m just missing the flat-sheet insert, that lists all the contents. Comes adhered to the back of the box, inside the shrink wrap. We keep all our packaging, but someone through those inserts away.

Basically, I need the left half of this image, for TTT and TROTK; I have it for TFOTR. (The linked example, thanks for which by the way GuanoLad, is too lowres for me to print for the shelf.)

Ah. I have thrown mine out too. I don’t think many people keep those, because they get caught and all creased and folded up when you put the boxes on the shelves.

I may be able to help. Let me look tomorrow.

Awesome. I hate to put them out with only ONE of them including the full information.

I have those handy. What resolution and file format do you need?

That would be great, it would be awesome to finish with this tonight.

I scan stuff at 300dpi; you can send in any format; jpeg’s probably easiest.

I’m on it. Do I use the email in your profile?

Yes, Thanks!

[hijack]I was looking at the cover art for the theatrical version of LOTR (I own the 12 disc box set, which has the leather-bound novel look…which is great because I always hated floating-head box art), and what is with Arwen being on every single cover? I know her role in the movies was expanded a bit from the books, but it wasn’t expanded THAT much, and she wasn’t even in the top 10 of most important characters in any of the 3 movies[/hijack]

Hot babe=DVDs selling.

Hot elf babe=DVDs selling to fantasy geeks.

That’s my theory and I’m sticking with it.

I’ll assume you’ve got what you need until I hear otherwise.

K2K–Yes, thanks, **BtES **came through (thanks again BtES). Scans heen colorized, beveled, framed in gold, printed, and shelved.

FWIW, here are the front covers of the shelf packaging I came up with. Thanks again for all the halp!

Those loke really nice! Good job.

Thanks. Was going for a total immersion in the “these aren’t DVDs, they’re books” concept.
