I picked it up this weekend on a Steam sale. Have been kind of following it for a while. Basically, it’s Subnautica in space…with quirky, weird Soviet humor (yeah, I didn’t know there was such a thing as Soviet humor either :p). It’s a surprisingly good game. I have played about 15 hours so far, and am into the 2nd or maybe 3rd chapter, though it’s clear that the game is still not finished. That said, it’s pretty good and a lot of fun. If you liked/like Subnautica or that sort of game you’ll feel right at home with this one. If you love Russian stereotypes and quirky Russian humor, you’ll love this as well. I can link to some YouTube videos on game play and such if anyone wants to see more (and doesn’t want to just look it up themselves), but wanted to see if anyone is playing or planning to play it. The game is still early development, so there isn’t a lot of info on it yet…which means that some of the things to do in the game are still being found out. For instance, I haven’t figured out how to unlock base or vehicle building in the story game (something about a unicorn achievement that I have no idea what I’m supposed to do in order to get).
Thanks; I have added it to my Wishlist.
No worries. If you do get it, feel free to come back and put your thoughts in the thread. Seems no 'dopers have found this one yet. I will say I did figure out, finally, how to unlock the base building. Typically, it was something weird and funny that you have to do to unlock it. I haven’t started constructing anything yet, but I plan to do some more of the ‘quests’ tonight as that seems to be the way to unlock stuff in the game, as well as push the story forward and see some really crazy, silly stuff.
