While at the comic store today, I was talking to one of the guys about Hero Clix. It sounds like it could be fun.
Strategy games are not my strong suit however, but the guy assured me it was easy to learn.
Anybody here playing?
I have a bunch of them, but I don’t play all that much.
It’s fun when you play with comic geeks, and it was pretty easy to pick up, as far as how the rules go.
I have a bunch of them too, but I haven’t collected lately. The rules aren’t very complex and the only reason I don’t play much anymore is cuz I have no one to play with. 
I have quite a few, but don’t have anyone to play with right now. I’m headed off to school tomorrow so hopefully I’ll convince a few to play.
By the way, my uniques are Professor Xavier, Juggernaut, and Brother Blood (a villan of Teen Titans).
I’ve acquired over a hundred of the little things (Marvel and DC) in the past few months–in fact I was just entering my latest purchases in a spreadsheet.
I have uniques of Nick Fury, Weapon X, Cosmic Justice Superman, and a limited edition SHIELD Frank Gunzer that I won the first time I played.
I played in a tournament at the local comic shop night before last. I came in sixth out of eight and lost two out of three games, but it was only my second time playing.
Geek? Me? 
Fun game, killed by the company that created it. It’s a bastardized version of mageknight, or so I hear. Basically, check out their website to find out how they’ve rewritten the rules to make it playable.
Also, I find that it gets a lot less fun the longer you play. A double 1 roll with a good character, who subseqently gets shot to shit by the guy he was firing at can ruin the night if it happens early in the game. Anyways, I only played vanilla HC, not DC or the other expansions, so they might be better.
It’s not a bad game, if you’ve got a taste for comics and four-color superhero slugfests. I run tourneys at the local comic shop on the weekends for the kids.
It can get kind of compulsive, though, since it’s a collectible kind of thing…
I almost forgot–I also have the unique black costumed Spider-Man.
I don’t play, but I own three HeroClix based on three of my favorite characters: Starman (Jack Knight), Blue Beetle, and Booster Gold.
I keep wanting to get Plastic Man or Flash, my favorite JLA members, but I’ve never played. So far my favorite acquisition is Harley Quinn. It looks like it could be fun to play, but I have no one to play against. The characters look nice sitting on top of my TV, however.
