I’d like to have a general discussion of this comic. It’s turning out to be a pretty good story with some amazing artwork (what else would you expect from Gaiman/Kubert?)
But I have one quick question: Who the hell is Virginia Dare?!! That really took me by surprise at the end of Issue 2. The only person I can think of that she might be, though it’s a bit of a stretch, is
Mystique
Who do you think she is?
Virginia is a historical figure, just like Queen Elizabeth. Why she turns into a giant owl is beyond me. It’s certain that she is NOT Alpha Flight’s Snowbird, as Gaiman has sworn to limit the cast of characters to Marvel folk existing before 1969.
