About 8 or so years ago, a Ford Dealership in my area featured a series of spots with a “Cajun” character named “Justin Thyme.” Later, when I saw the movie “The Client,” I noticed that one of the roles–a small one, but very important–featured a character named “Romey” played by Walter Olkewicz.
Anyway, “Romey” was pretty much a dead ringer for “Justin Thyme.”
The question: Was I (meaning my area) the only person who ever say “Justin Thyme?” I say that because it’s possible that he might have been contracted by some ad agency to make spots all over the region.
Follow-up question: If you remember him, and you did see “The Client,” did they look as much alike as I remember? (Memory can be a funny thing.)
