Anyone remember this SNL skit? ("No, no, no, Jennifer")

I can not find this on the web anywhere. Back in maybe the early 1990’s there was either a Weekend Update segment or a skit that featured (I think) Victoria Jackson reporting on some ‘Man on the Street’ interviews she had done.

I totally don’t remember the questions but most of them weren’t important—it was the answers that was the punchline

She said something like "I asked folks in Central Park a few questions. [I’m totally making up the first three Q’s] 1. Have they ever lived in Antarctica?; 2. Do they like Vaseline flavored ice cream?; 3. Would they enjoy cleaning sewers?; and 4. What name would they give a new baby daughter?

Their answers were invariably, ‘No, no, no, Jennifer.’"

If you remember the 80’s-90’s you may recall that approximately 3 out of 5 girls were named ‘Jennifer’ at that time.

I’m just trying to locate any record of this happening so I don’t think I’m totally nutso. Thanks!

No results for this at snltranscripts.jt.org.

Don’t forget, there were other sketch shows out there (could it have been Fridays?).

I do remember a cartoon (in the National Lampoon, or might have been the New Yorker) that showed a grade school class photo with a caption something like:

First Grade (left to right, top to bottom):
Jennifer, Jennifer, Scott, Jennifer, Scott, Scott, Jennifer, Scott, Jennifer, Jennifer, Scott, Mrs. Prohaska.

.

eta: FOUND IT!

I’m pretty sure it was Victoria Jackson in the skit. And I’m pretty sure I didn’t just imagine it. But… even the miracle workers on the dope can’t always know everything!!!

I would guess the Weekend Update segments are a lot more ephemeral than the stand alone sketches.

That’s true.

No, No, No, Jennifer:

Back before both of them went batshit crazy.

Yeah, maybe something contagious in the air there at 30 Rock. Other cast members would eventually display the same symptoms.

Jackson was always superduper religious, and reportedly got on her castmates’ nerves, Kirk Cameron-style, with her proselytizing. Miller, I think, always leaned mildly libertarian, but took a lot of shots at Republicans back in the day, then sometime around his solo show in the late 90s began publicly banking towards Foxtown.

Nice work! I had done a lot of searching and some others in the thread searched things I hadn’t even thought of and also came up empty. How did you find it?

Fluke, really. I typed something like ‘victoria jackson reporter skit’ on Youtube and it was one of the first few hits. The title didn’t give it away, so the fluke was clicking in the middle of the timeline and happening to land right on the line in your OP.
