Anyone remember this song: "Up in the air, Junior Birdman"

I just saw a username that made me think of this song, which I haven’t heard in many years.
Here’s what I can remember of it, and I don’t claim a perfect memory:

Up in the air, junior birdman
Up in the air, upside down
Up in the air, junior birdman
Keep your feet (?) up off the ground

Then there’s something about a door being knocked down and someone ringing (a doorbell?), and it ends like this:

You will know the junior birdman
Has turned his box tops in.

Does anyone out there have a clue? Or the rest of the lyrics?

Heck, I remember the gestures:

Up in the air (point up), Junior Birdmen (pilot’s helmet*).
Up in the air (point up), upside down (hand turns upside down)
Up in the air (point up), Junior Birdmen (pilot’s helmet).
Keep your noses off the ground (point to nose).

When you hear (touch ear) the door bell ringing (mime pressing doorbell)
And you get your wings of tin (elbows out, hands on sides to make “wing” gestures).
Then you will know (point to head), Junior Birdmen (pilot’s helment)
That you have sent your box (point to chest) tops (point to head) in (point in front of you).

*Birdman’s helmet (the neat part): touch forefinger to thumb to make circle. Put your pinkies on your chin. Rotate hands upward so the circle of thumb and forefinger cover your eyes.

I learned a different version, although the first verse was the same:

When you hear the grand announcement
On how to get your wings of tin
Then you know, Junior Birdmen
It’s time to get those box tops in

It takes four box tops
Three bottle bottoms
Two candy wrappers
And one thin di-i-ime

The gestures for the last stanza are just signalling the numbers with your hand.
