Anyone seen Rent from the "Obsrtucted view" seats in the Nederlander?

Hey all,

we’re trying to get tickets to Rent as a present for my Nsync-obsessed sister, and there are these “Obstructed view” seats that seem awful cheap for their location. Has anyone sat there? How bad is it? Would a 5’2" girl be able to see anything?

My advice: Don’t. I saw CATS on B’Way (even though I had seen it twice before, I wanted to see it at the Winter Garden once before it died - but it seems to have died before me :p). Anyway, when they say obstructed view, they mean it. RENT is a high-energy show, and you’ll miss a lot.

BTW I saw RENT in the front row for $20. Of course, I had to camp out for 24 hours with 31 other “RENT-heads,” but it was well worth it.

You can’t do the camp-out thing anymore, though.

You mean you can actually see Rent from the obstructed-view seats?

And the balcony is really high up in that theater. We had seats up there and it felt like the stage was miles away.
