Anyone still having trouble with Warhawk (PS3)?

I’ve read that they’ve released an update for the game and it’s supposed to fix a lot of the issues, but for me my rank is still way too high than what it should be. I should be just an Airman, not Commander, it’s very annoying.

So, is anyone else still having this trouble, or is it all fixed?

I’ve been considering Warhawk. It comes with a free Jabra BT headset for $55 so I’m thinking “why not?”. What do you make of the game? Can you be more specific on the trouble you’re having?

I enjoy the game greatly. It’s a lot of fun. And seeing as how it’s an online game, the community can vary from enjoyable to the asshat range. I’d like it a lot more if it weren’t for the problems that have been plaguing the servers.

* Problems with ranking and statistics tracking, resulting in lost ranking points and/or incorrect rankings.
* Skipping ranks. Another major problem among those who have recently purchased the game. Some players with a low rank such as Recruit become high ranks such as Sergeant or 2nd Lieutenant after just a few matches, with points and badges/ribbons/medals greatly below that which is required. This makes it impossible for novice players to join servers of their level and the game becomes unnecessarily difficult.
* Random PlayStation Network login sign outs and game connection problems.
* For some players, the favorite server list did not exist or function.
* Upon attempting to join servers listed as having open spaces, many gamers are given "Game is Full" denial.
* Game freezes during play without any obvious cause.
* Though not a server problem, there is an increase in players who kill their own team members to deliberately annoy them, etc.
* Invincible Aircraft/Vehicles - the vehicle that someone is in becomes invincible for no apparent reason.

Apparently they’ve said that they have updated their servers and will release a patch at the end of this month and one in December that will fix all these problems. And to deal with the asshats they have said they will start using people called “Arbiters (I think)” who will play the game and if anyone’s acting like a jerk they will take the appropriate action, whether it be erase their stats or a one day ban, timing them out etc.

I got hit with the glitch that has caused me to rank up without the necessary prequisites, so on my first day of playing I was playing up against people who’ve been playing since the game was released. It’s not game breaking, but it is hugely annoying.

My suggestion is buy the game, but wait until the glitches are fixed, because right now you will be highly annoyed. And this is a video game, when you play it you should have fun. It can be very fun, but it would be a hundred times fold if the problems were fixed.

Oh I see. Pretty much the same problems Resistance had. I guess I’ll need to read up on it.
