With the mini-hiatus and everything, I’m a little confused about something on Ugly Betty.
Are Daniel and Wili sharing co-editor-in-chief duties at Mode AND co-CEO duties of Meade Publishing? Is Conner the CFO of Mode or Meade? Is anyone occupying the big black office upstairs?
I think the last time a Meade publication besides Mode was even mentioned was when Daniel recommended Betty for YETI based on her having worked at Player.
And what happened to Claire’s new mag, Hot Flash? Did Alexis really cut it before she went to jail?
I still enjoy UB (and more so than last season) but there are all kinds of loose ends like these fluttering about in the background and it’s very distracting.
I’m pretty sure Wilhelmina and Daniel are both co-CEOs and co-editors-in-chief and Connor is CFO of Meade. There was some stuff after Connor was first hired about him wanting to cut various magazines from Meade in order to get the company back on track. I honestly can’t remember what happened to Hot Flash. Sometimes so much goes on in this show and it changes so rapidly that it’s difficult to keep track. I still love it, though!

It doesn’t make logical sense and Connor spends too much time at MODE for someone with a ton of magazines to run.
Also, Claire was at the editors’ retreat, and she’s in the offices working from time to time, so I think Hot Flash still exists in some form or other.
