Well, I won’t be able to do weekends, but I’m used to it, since I have sort of an inverted schedule (my weekdays are completely flexible, but my weekends during wedding season are pretty much shot.)
I am going to be in Chicago August 4-8. I am willing to meet anyone close to the loop, although it might be crazy with Lollapalooza going on. (The reason I’ll be there.)
C’mon folks, make a decision, pick a date and time. Whoever makes it, makes it. Can’t please everyone all the time, ever, especially when it comes to Dopefests.

Yeah, it’s embarrassing at this point. The Charlotte and Seattle dopers are getting a jump on us [hangs head in shame].

Okay, I’m picking a date out of my ass. August 6, say, 2pm. Late enough so that the hungover can crawl in, but early enough that you can go do something in the evening if you have a social life. As for the place, I’ll go to Yelp, close my eyes and pick something if nobody has any suggestions. I don’t know this town, so I don’t know what’s crappy and what’s not.
I’m fine with the Moe’s suggestion, either location, really. Sundays and Thursdays are pretty much all I can commit to, other days of the week kinda depend on what I have going on that week. In this weather, I’m happier indoors unless we want to postpone to a cooler month. I’m not much of an organizer, or I’d take more initiative. I’ll show up if the timing works out, though.
