I’m GMT, but generally i’m on late enough that that should be alright. Weekends are also generally fine for me.
Sorry folks, I was out of town working a shooting competition. I am running late on this and do not have my books yet. I’ll pick them up this week and get up to speed. I have the Heroforge download and after a long fight about the macros I am filling in details.
More later.
I can play a barbarian, it’s cool. As for time, Saturdays may work best for me. I’m on the West Coast. Story blurb thing to come.
Hurray! Sounds good… and saturdays’ll probably work here, too.
Will you do the voice?
Will you name him…
What voice would that be? Perhaps the voice of a bloodthirsty, barely controlled maniac? Or the voice of deadly, focused rage? Or maybe just the voice of a big, stupid lout?
I haven’t heard of Thrud before. I was thinking some variation on Zangief.
The voice of this barbarian, of course.
Camel punching also required.
Oh, right. Somehow the reference slipped by me, despite the fact that I live in Conan the Governator’s state. :smack:
Something came up, and Saturdays no longer work for me anymore. Too unreliable to schedule anything. Sundays are still good, and most weeknights (particularly wednesdays) as long as things start after 5ish on US Mountain Time (GMT -7). Sorry for the monkey wrench.
No problem, Sir Dirx… how about if jsgoddess, Little Plastic Wizard
Sir Dirx, and whoever wants to rogue for them play on sunday, and the rest play saturday?
I can’t play this weekend, but that sounds good in general.
Yea, I still need a bit to finalize the early dungeon, too.
I’ll be your sunday rogue. Need some time for the writeup and such.
Sounds good!
I got Dungeon Mastering for Dummies, could not find the DM 3.5 guide.
I could be the Sunday Rouge also. I’d prefer not to play during the day on Saturday, it’s a Shabat thing, and cannot play the first weekend in October. I’ll be hunting targets. From then on I am pretty free. So, off to look at the Dummies guide and find some character I can play and his story.
Thanks for your patience.
I guess that makes me the Saturday rogue then…
(In character)
So, there any hot chicks in this party?
(/In character)
(Hee, I totally enjoy playing a male character more than a female character. It’s like I can be more divorced from myself and just let it all hang out, metaphorically speaking. :D)
I have my books and all is well. We are using the 28 point system, correct?
And a funny story. I went to the local outlet mall, where they have a place called Gamestop (checking online, I see that Gamestop is different, so it was Gamesomething.) Anyway, I have walked by the place numerous times and it’s full of little painted miniatures and books and stuff and I figure that’s where I have to go.
So I walk in and this really cute young woman comes up, all smiles and asks if she can help. I ask about D&D books. Smile goes, body posture moves to defensive, takes a small step back. “We don’t carry that. We only have table top strategy games based on blah, blah, blah. All of our blah, blah, blah. And blah, blah, blah. You can try across the mall at Books-a-Million.” And then she turned away from me like I was too lowly to contemplate. Dissed by a gamer chick, that hurt.
That so sounds like Games Workshop.
That was it. Thanks.
Do they treat everybody like shit?
I have never even played D&D and already there are people that think they are above me. To paraphrase Louis XVI, “It’s sad to be the scum.”
