Hey, I figured I may as well ask. I suppose the Ren Faire people might be interested because of the time period (we wear the costumes and stuff). Maybe others of you will be as well. If you are going to be in or near East Central Illinois (Danville, which is sorta near Champaign) during the first week of December (4-7) and if you are interested, let me know. $15 gets you a good roast beef dinner, some wassail, and a couple hours of good singing.

What days are Dec 4-7 (I don’t have a calendar handy) and how long is a drive from Chicago.
Hmm. Might be cheaper and easier to just have roast beef at a restaurant around here, though… ponders
It’s a Monday through a Thursday. Thursday, it’s only 10$ but you only get dessert. Depending on where you are in Chicago, it’d be about a three hour drive (I see why you people don’t really want to come). AND, it probably WOULD be cheaper to have dinner in Chicago, but would you get GREAT entertainment? No. Would you get to see a fellow doper? Probably not. Would you get WASSAIL? Didn’t think so.
I’d come (I love madrigals and rarely get a chance to sing) but it’s a bit longer than a three hour drive for me. Sorry.
Damn! I love madrigals! And roast beef! And tights! But I’m in FLORIDA and I think that’s a bit far for me… 
Too far to attend, but sounds like fun! 
File me away in the “too far to come” category. And we’ve got one of them here at my school, anyway. So there’s the added bonus of mocking the boys we KNOW who are wearing tights . . . always a good time.
Nope, definitely wouldn’t get wassail. Too bad that I have to work; I don’t think I’d make it in time driving down after work.
