Ooh, I tried on the pink ones at the DSW in San Francisco. They were so comfortable for a high heel and I’m really liking the moc trend. I don’t know why I didn’t buy 'em. (it was probably the friends I was with who were mocking my shoe thing. I did wind up buying these which are great for clubbing and are such cheesy Barbie shoes and some inexpensive lower heeled round toed pumps for work.) Maybe the DSW here will still have 'em.

tremorviolet, I like those shoes a lot; they’re very tailored. They are quite similar to a pair of Ralph Lauren shoes I own.
I actually paid only about $30 for 'em at DSW. 
They’re not the best made shoes in the world but I needed some unintimidating shoes for meeting with city employees and elementary school principal. My usual heels tend to be a bit much sometimes.
I am so ready to start wearing fall clothes but it’s still a hundred here. I won’t be wearing sweaters until November…
That happens to me every year! I like fall/winter clothes better than spring/summer, so I’m always anxious to start wearing them. Nothing looks stupider than sweating your boobs off in a cashmere sweater in the middle of September when the daytime high is 28 degrees C - it was 4 when I left for work -honest!

Those are great, I really like the heel. Urgh, I usually just keep an eye out for cheap knock-offs of the designer shoes I covet. But this year I’m seeing all these great designer shoes I’m in love with (I’ve wanted these for forever but I’ve never paid that much for shoes). I just have to remind myself to be patient and eventually the knock-offs will make it to the stores…

You’ve all gotten me to start looking at shoes! (More in my price range, of course). Some ones that I am liking:
The tan and the pink ones could both be cute
I could see the green with some dark jeans and a cute top
I should mention that most of my shoes are pretty conservative (simple black and such), but it’s nice to have some crazy heels to dress up an outfit.
Hell, for that much money, you could’ve gotten yourself some real footwear!
Actually - I prefer my Asolo’s for that particular type of footwear.
Perhaps you’d like to compair ski boots as well - personally I prefer Rossignol’s, but I probably wouldn’t wear them to my office.

There is nothing wrong with that. Back when I used to be a clothes horse, I would ABSOLUTELy buy a pair of shoes, and then go looking for an outfit to go with them.
Clothes are so fun. I love being a girl.
