Anyone wanna translate some German for me?

I sell higher-end makeup on ebay (dept. store brands, not drug store brands). In my latest shipment of Signature Club A assorted compacts, the label on one of them is in German. I’m pretty sure I can sell it, if I can figure out what in the hell it is.

I’ve tried a couple of the German to English translation websites, and not finding anything that makes much sense.

If anyone feels up to the task, I can describe the product visually, and tell you what’s on the back label.

Okay, here’s the back of the label, word for word (German, of course)

Anwendung: mit dem Pinsel uber die gesamte Palette streichen. Uberschuss abstreifen und den Puder mit dem Pinsel auf dem Geisicht verteilen. Allein oder uber dem Make-up tragen.

INHALT: 34G

(The ingredients are already in English). It is a round compact, with mirror. Inside, the pressed powder is divided into five sections (but not separated into compartments, if you see what I mean). There’s a light beige powder, two light beige sections that are kind of shimmery, one darker beige section that’s kind of shimmery, and a circle in the center (well, offset, but still. . .) that’s a shimmery rose color.

Usage: Run the brush over the entire palette. Discard excess and distribute the powder over the face with the brush. Wear alone or over makeup. Ingredients: 34 G

This is a fun excercise; I find my English to be insufficiant to translate properly.

Yes, it reads like badly translated Chinese.

This last bit will be a lot more fun if you translate as:

“Wear alone or with a friend.”

She said translate to english, not engrish. Engrish is funnier though.

Seriously, I’ve lots of other compacts (none that look like this one, though) that are things like “Skin Brightening Powder” and stuff like that. I’m guessing this is something similar, and I will sell it as such.

Only one thing: I would translate “Inhalt” as “content” … well, not really a hugely useful contribution at this point (“das macht das Kraut auch nicht fett” for those who collect German colloquial idioms).

Oh! In that context (translating it as “content”), might the 34G mean 34 grams as the weight? All of the SCA compacts I have that are printed in English have a net weight at the bottom.
