There are various discrepancies in the birth dates and death dates of pro rassler Pak Song. The entry for SSN 496-70-6948 in the Social Security Death Index might actually be the correct person. The birth and death years are within a year or two of most posted years of Pak, and the issue state is Missouri, where I believe Pak’s pro career in the States started. I believe he had some condition that accounted for his appearance. Possibly acromegaly. It’s also possible that he actually died in South Korea. Information on pro rasslers whose careers ended, oh, say, pre-1985 is often sketchy and unreliable.

Bald and very muscular Ernest Bemis wrestled under the name “Mr. Kleen.” (Not to be confused with Ernie Roth (“Grand Wizard/Abdullah Farouk”) who also did a brief stint in the early 60s as a manager “Mr. Kleen.”) Bemis/Kleen looked ancient, but I think he just looked much older than he was. There are three deceased names of “Ernest Bemis” in the SSDI. I can’t supply a photo, but you probably already have a decent visual, just add in some bad yellow teeth. (Like the real “Mr. Clean,” he wore an earring, I think.)
ERNEST W BEMIS 09 Mar 1915 22 Dec 2002 (Massachusetts)
ERNEST BEMIS 28 Oct 1918 Jan 1987 (New York)
ERNEST BEMIS 29 Jan 1925 Aug 1985 (Arizona and Indiana)
Personally, I would guess that #3 would be the most probable one, as I saw him in 1973.
If anyone has any info that could shed some light, please do. (These are two mysteries that show up on various pro rasslin’ boards with some frequency.)
