If so, which presidential candidate do you support ?
Yes. And what difference does it make? Can either one of them make sure everyone, including part-time workers making slightly above poverty-level wages, gets decent insurance?
Because if they really can (which I doubt; they still have to get past Congress), then they can have my vote. But I’m not gonna hold my breath either way. Promises, shmosises.
I know one thing for sure: It’s definitely NOT going to happen with McCain. At least Obama and Clinton will try to make things better. Trying is better than actively hampering.
I have no health insurance at all, because i’m self-employed with pre-existing conditions. If anyone can get me health insurance, I’ll be damn surprised.
Either Hillary or Obama.
Move to Canada.
(Not so helpful, huh? :))
Not having a dog in the U.S. political race debate, does anyone really think that a rational nation health policy is going to come from any of the current candidates? I’d think that the time lines rule out any President taking office in 2009, even a two-term President, seeing such a program through to implementation. Aren’t state-level initiatives going to be more effective, anyway?
No health ensurance. My job pays $8.50 per hour and doesn’t provide it. I’m an Obama supporter.
