...ANZAC Day, 2004...

…I did a search, and found last years topic, but I couldn’t find one for this year, so here it is…

…as we near the end of the day, I’ve finally found the time to reflect…

:: Quietly raises a beer in honour of the fallen ::

i’ll be heading down to hyde park later to pay my respects to the fallen.

Australia stood alongside us and fought for freedom. For that they have ever earned our respect and gratitude.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

I’d never heard of this before, living in the States, but you’ll probably want to read Cicero’s thoughts in his “Someday, no one will march at all” thread.

I attended this morning’s Dawn service in Sydney. It was very moving.
