app for internet radio - favorites?

Any thoughts? Pandora? Jango? Slacker? Spotify? Other? Looking for occasional use, say while exercising in the basement, saving my podcasts* and actual bought songs for the outside runs. So free. I’ve tried Jango so far but it seems to cut off songs in odd ways.

*And I am loving The Best radio You Have Never Heard and MusicVox - Live from Studio 10.

For an app that has genuine reach, go for TuneIn Radio. It won’t help you with podcasts unfortunately, but there are many, many thousands of stations on there.

Heh, that doesn’t meet your needs at all, but thought I’d mention it anyway.

No, that is great! And the 99 cent “pro version” seems like a steal. Thanks!

You mention “bought songs” so you can use Google Music for that. You upload your songs and can listen to them streaming from the internet on the usual myriad of devices.

Looks like they have an Android app and web access but I’m not sure if they have an iPod app if that’s what you use (I’d assume so).

Edit: I know that obviously you could load your music directly onto many/most/all iPhone/iPod/Android devices but that doesn’t mean you want to for various reasons.

Sorry that I was so very unclear. I meant to explain why I would use it in a very limited way: I’ll use my somewhat limited stored material (bought and free podcasts) when I am not with wifi access - like on a run - and use the radio app more in the house - say for exercising in the basement.
