I can’t.
His (ex?) wife has a cell phone. All calls placed to the cell phone are being forwarded to his phone. He didn’t set that up, be he’s being blamed for it.
And if you want to read it in the OP’s own words, there’s a link in post 10 to the original thread. I think she’s a separated, probably now soon-to-be ex-wife.
I think it’s pretty obvious that it’s the son, for the following reasons:
- He was the first to call post-forwarding.
- He threatened you.
- He stands to lose from you two working things out, and kids react irrationally to that.
- He’s the most likely one to know how to do it.
The wife wouldn’t do it and then try to convince you that you did it. She’d try to convince a third party. That’s how lying works. It makes no sense that she’d perform an action and then try to convince her target that he’s the guilty one.
I have to rule him out. The dude she lives with though… I mean she leaves him a note saying she’s “going out with the girls”… He sends her a text later that “everybody needs a night out”… After we part Saturday morning we text several times… We talk Sunday a couple of times… Once she calls me and once I call her (which if the phone was already forwarded would have gone to my voice mail since I was on the phone using it to call her)…
1)He was as surprised as me to hear my voice when he called.
2)He was taking up for mom to protect her because at that point, what would you think if this just showed up at your door? You’d think I had done it too. Because right after he called for her, 2-3 hours later she was at his house calling me from his phone.
3)He stands to lose nothing. When I first met him he did because he was living with us and it was known I didn’t like supporting a 25 year old man (and his 23 year old brother) as if he’s still 10. But he knows I always treated his mom good and we never had any major problems.
4)The boyfriend works for Dish is a pretty tech savy guy from what I can tell. It would have been easy for him to get his hands on her phone and do this. And the timing seems to indicate it was done Monday.
Yeah it would be weird for her to do it I guess but not “Twilight Zone” weird. She answered my text messages and was really pissed. But when I told her to look on her dialed calls to see when it was dialed (because to me it’s unlikely verizon cs was called to do it) no response!
At this point I really don’t give a fuck. She can live her shitty life with her limp dick boyfriend and all the booze she can drink in her “fucked up falling apart, with some windows just covered with boards and the back door the wrong size and just nailed to the opening mobile home” <–her words> working in the hotel laundry room making $800 a month… well good… fuck you bitch you deserve a shitty life. And really you’re *69 isn’t as good as it used to be… lmao! If she wants to believe the worst about me then there’s just no way I can spend the rest of my life walking on pins and needles.
