Apple fritter bread

I made Awesome Country Apple Fitter Bread today. (I’m not sure if it’s apple fritter bread from Awesome Country, or apple fritter bread that is awesome and comes from the country, or if it’s made with country apples as opposed to city apples.)

I did use walnuts in it, as the author suggested she might. It’s pretty tasty. It doesn’t taste like an actual apple fritter (doughnut), and I think it’s a bit on the sweet side; but it’s good. It made the house smell nice as well.

The Wife says the woman she got the apples from said the apples were ‘too sweet’. That might be a significant component to the very-sweetness.

Looks yummy! Right now, I’m breakfasting on an apple cobbler I threw together last night using apples from the big tree in our backyard. The batter was just plain Bisquick and milk, with some sugar and spice thrown in. Very good! :o

That bread looks delicious.

I normally make apple scones when I have a lot of apples around, but that bread is now on my list.
