Apple podcasts without an Apple device

Is there a way to get a podcast that is “exclusively available on Apple podcasts” if you don’t have an apple device?

Possibly iTunes on Windows. I’m trying to verify that but I am having trouble coming up with an example of an “exclusively available on Apple podcasts” podcast. Can you name one?

“The Handoff” with Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon.

There should be several episodes by now.

I tried an app that can search iTunes, and it found the podcast, but it only displayed one episode.

I would have thought that there would be guides for how to listen to such podcasts on PC or android, but every guide I find acts as if there’s no such thing as a podcasts that is exclusive to Apple Podcasts—though the generic name of the service doesn’t help.

I second the idea of just seeing if iTunes on Windows will give you access. If you can, then, depending on how it works, it might be possible to then get access to from your computer to an Android device—if that is something you want to do.

Besides iTunes on Windows, it should also be available on Alexa-enabled speakers.

Does a Mac count as an Apple device? If so, you might be able to run macOS in a virtual machine (say, on a GNU/Linux desktop computer) and get the podcast that way.

iTunes on Windows is only showing me the one intro episode.

I think I’m going to take this back. “The Handoff” is part of the new Apple Podcast Subscriptions feature, which is for podcasts that charge money to subscribe and which is (I think) only accessible on Apple devices right now. There are rumors, though, that Apple is working on releasing a Podcasts app for Windows that will include the ability to subscribe to for-pay podcasts. Seems like that’s something Apple should have had ready for release when they started offering for-pay subscriptions, but there you go.
