It’s apparently not good enough to have advertisements as captchas required to post on the forums and to have advertisements for some data collection company on the sidebar, now they’ve started blocking their video content and replacing everyone’s avatars with some shitty singer to try to annoy people into running every single bloated piece of crap anyone will pay them to put on their website.
After all, why bother cleaning up your act to the point where people are willing to trust you again, when you can just deliberately piss people off and then associate that hatred with your advertising client’s company?

Granted that the Armenian case is not quite as cut-and-dried as the Holocaust as a genocide, the motives on the part of the Turks and Turkish government were: religious hatred (Muslim against Christian); ethnic hatred (language and cultural differences; jealousy of the perceived relative prosperity of Armenians, even though they paid higher taxes and had very little political influence (sound familiar?); fear of Armenians siding with their enemies during WWI (as you mention). That means this is definitely a case of ethnic cleansing, and the religious and ethnic hatred certainly makes it look like a genocide.
Regarding Armenian actions in WWI, there were other ways for the Turkish government to have handled their fear of Armenians siding with the other side, other than creating killing squads or butcher battalions for the only purpose of systematically slaughtering Armenians.
It is hard for me to see how any reasonable person could deny that this was a genocide, both from motives and from results. There may be political reasons that make it hard for the U.S. to insist on this, but that fact doesn’t change the truth.

So Google Chrome has changed its bookmarking interface, and apparently the new one takes longer to respond, so I thought it just wasn’t working at first. And it takes more steps to remove a bookmark.
