God, I don’t know off the top of my head. I frankly expected my game to be done after the auction. I don’t have any notes with me or anything.
As for JSG’s offer.
On the one hand, I am very competitive. Sinjin and MHaye can back me up on this, I have no problem doing anything short of actually breaking rules to win a game. JSG’s offer would probably give me the win regardless of what else happens.
On the other hand, I have played the game, I think, really well up to this point. As Meeko said, he spent more time on it than anyone and isn’t in nearly as good a position as I am. By a combination of luck and some really well thought out trades (that I am fairly proud of) I have gotten myself firmly in front of the pack.* I have done very poorly in Haggle, I have done moderately well. I haven’t ever won, but winning isn’t everything, having fun is. I always have fun playing.
JSG’s offer seems to take the fun out of things, because it ends almost everyone’s game and makes the game “Get NAF” which is frankly a game I don’t want to play. It’s not fun for me, and it probably isn’t much fun for any of you. I need to think if I really want to do that to this game.
I maintain that all my trades have been fair, and I haven’t swindled anyone at any point. I don’t want to start now.
*I think, I haven’t seen 16, which may be a game changer, but which I suspect simply says that rule 4 is false something I already knew. In fact if it DOESN’T say rule 4 is false, then that will be a game changer, because then there is a real rule in effect that I am unaware of.
