April showers bring...

I’m with you badbadrubberpiggy. Mrs Stone and I are moving out of MA to NC on June 1st. The other day she asked me when the weather would get better and my reply was “Not till June 2nd.”

At the start of May we made the mistake of taking the flannel sheets off the bed and packing them away, along with all the blankets … so I’ve been sleeping in my sweat pants/shirt ever since.

68 Inches of snow during the winter and no spring in sight yet… Yep, New England is clearly saying
<spooky voice>
Get Out!

and I watched too many horror movies as a kid to not know when to take good advice.

Earth, we’ve been thinking of a very similar move, for probably the same reasons, even disregarding the weather issues (though they do figure in some).

On the plus side, I’ve not had to water my garden (onion sets, and potato sets) for weeks, nor have I had to water in the new grass seeds I laid down recently. :cool:

On the down side, I have about 4 feet of grass in the back yard, and I’m sure that the first dry day will spike to 90+F, and I’ll have to haul a bag of clippings off the mower after every pass. :mad:

My pond is going to be COLD for a very long time, I’m not looking forward to the delays in my swimming season!!! :mad:

I expect this weather in March, not April. Oh for the predicted warming that’s scheduled to occur. :rolleyes:

When come back…
:slight_smile:

Or: June bugs!
