More snow overnight. Clan Piper is feeling a bit cooped up. The Cub wants to go scootering, Mrs P wants to go for walks with warm sun on her face.
On the other hand, I want a slow melt so our basement doesn’t get wet.
However, I think I am ready for spring, please.
Yeah this winter has been ridiculous. If it’s not cold and snowy, it’s cold and rainy and if it’s not cold and rainy it’s just rainy. I would like a nice sunny pleasant day twice in a row please.
Come to Colorado, the new New Mexico meteorologically speaking. I miss the heavy snows of yesterdecade, but not terribly. And I don’t appreciate 100+ temps, but that’s only a couple weeks in the summer. However, I will be moving to Antarctica when the tarantulas and scorpions start coming north.
I feel your pain! I woke up to snowing and blowing again this morning with a windchill of -2. Most of our yard is still covered in snow…ugly, crusty, dirty snow. At least this new snow will make everything look clean again :rolleyes:
Think of it this way, if we had beautiful weather all year long we would never experience the euphoric feeling of those first amazing, gorgeous, sunny, warm days. There’s nothing like that first day when you walk out of your door into warm air and the fresh smell of grass and new leaves.
Mini-blizzards all day yesterday and -16 this morning.
