Mr. Wolfe, we have agreed that “beauty” has layers, and a particular specimen need not be the most beautiful to exhibit remarkable beauty in its own way.
I agree that Nero Wolfe would have taken a more nuanced view of things, but I only have so much space to write a title. And the one I used drew a perfect image.
Well, if you name something “Gastrodia”, don’t be surprised if it grows up ugly.
